In the Name of Allāh, the Most Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy All praise is due to Allāh, Lord of all that exists, and may the peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allāh, the Seal of the Prophets, and upon his family and all his companions, and upon the successors and those who follow them in righteousness until the Day of Judgment. To proceed:
Among the important treatises that every Muslim man and woman is in need of is the treatise titled Important Lessons for Every Muslim by the Imām, Shaykh al-Islām ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Bāz (May Allah have mercy upon him), due to what it contains of matters related to creed and jurisprudence, as well as that which contradicts them. To facilitate its memorization, simplify its teaching, and make it more accessible for learners, our brother for the sake of Allāh, the respected Shaykh Aḥmad ibn ʿĀshūr al-Fayyūmī, restructured it in the format of questions and answers.
This is an educational and instructional method used by many scholars and teachers, rather than solely by their leader and chief teacher, Muḥammad (May Allah elevate his rank & grant him peace), as al-Bukhārī narrated in the Book of Knowledge from the ḥadīth of ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUmar (May Allah be pleased with them both), when the Prophet asked the companions about a tree among the desert trees. So may Allāh reward our beloved brother in faith for this effort and place it in the scale of his good deeds.
And I advise the general Muslims to study it, memorize it, and include
it in the curriculum of educational programs.
And Allāh is the One who grants success. May the peace, blessings,
and barakah be upon our Prophet Muḥammad, his family, and all his
companions.
