Attributes of the Righteous Woman

by Umm Abdillah bint Shaykh Muqbil al-Wādi

About The Book

It is not hidden from many that the objectives of the enemies of Allāh and the people of deception throughout the ages and generations have been to discourage goodness, prevent the adoption of righteous qualities, call for the corruption of women, and obstruct the means to salvation from all evil and harm.
This is often promoted among women, as they are deficient in intellect and religion. The situation has worsened due to the encouragement of corrupt companions and colleagues, as well as the neglect of many guardians towards their families and those in their care. As a result, women have become victims of corruption, calamities, and tribulations.
Perhaps my Lord will allow this book, containing attributes derived from the Book of Allāh and the Sunnah of His Messenger, May Allāh elevate his rank & grant him peace, to benefit heedless and neglectful women. I also hope from my Lord that its benefit will continue upon myself and all my righteous sisters.
Allāh is the One whose aid is sought, upon Him is our reliance, and there is no power nor might except with Allāh. All praise is due to Allāh, the Lord of all creation.
Now is the time to begin the intended subject and proceed with the plan. Upon Allāh, we place our trust. I will begin, in shāʾ Allāh, by defining righteousness, discussing the virtue of the righteous and their scarcity, and other related matters before addressing the attributes themselves.
And with Allāh lies all success.
