The Raw,honest Story of a Spouse, Children and Family Who Carried the Weight of Someome Else's Fall-And Made It Through
by
Your family didn't cause the fall. But they lived through every single wave of it anyway.
And nobody has ever written a book for them. Until now.
I lost everything. My home. My career. My freedom. The people I thought I could count on. I hit a rock bottom so complete that I couldn't see a way out — and while I was down there, the people I loved most were up above, holding the world together with shaking hands and a faith they weren't sure was working anymore.
My wife kept the lights on. My kids had to explain to their friends why Dad wasn't home. My daughter had to sleep at a friend's house just to stay in the school she'd already started. My son had to start college carrying a secret he never should have had to carry alone.
I've written about faith. I've written about getting back up. But this book isn't about me.
This book is about them.
And if you are one of them — a spouse who held it together when falling apart would have been completely justified, a child who grew up too fast because the adults around you were overwhelmed, a family member who didn't make the choice that caused the storm but got soaked by every single wave of it — then this book was written for you.
