Space enough for all, but room for only One

The Temple of Silence

by Walter Cecchini and Priyam Saini

About The Book

The Temple of Silence guides you to find the ever-present refuge that is completely reliable under all circumstances. See that the world is transient and yet YOU remain as what always is: peace, contentment and fulfillment. Discover a deeper intimacy with what has always been here - simple, uncontrived, and utterly whole. This is not a journey toward something new, but a recognition in the immediacy of what always is. Each of the 100 poems within offers a glimpse behind the veil, past the conditioned mind and into the heart of unknowing. They do not demand understanding - they reveal what remains when understanding is no longer sought. Arising from, and taking shape within silence, these offerings are for anyone with a yearning for freedom. In the Temple of Silence, there is space enough for all, but room for only One. Discover that, prior to thought, you are that One. Welcome home.

The end of suffering. This is the claim of self-realization, awakening or enlightenment. The complex or difficult part seems to be shedding the idea that this is in some way reserved for “special” beings or entails complex and difficult work. The truth is that it is simple and direct for those ready to set their thinking mind aside and ‘hear’ from a deeper place.

Walter has been interested and involved in spirituality and eastern philosophy since beginning the study of martial arts in his early teens. Operating two martial arts schools for over a decade, Walter felt moved to serve as a Police Officer and currently specializes in de-escalation, crisis negotiations, and wellness. Walter is teamed with a Mental Health Professional while on patrol and describes himself as "love disguised as authority." Through the non-dual understanding, Walter seeks the most peaceful resolution possible and endeavors to provide aid and support to the most vulnerable and marginalized in our society. Having discovered non-duality in 2018, Walter began writing poetry in March 2021 as a vehicle to clarify the non-dual understanding for himself and others.
