A Parable in Rhyme
by Jan Morris
This little story is in a delightful rhyming style with colourful and engaging illustrations. This gives a playful spin on the story, showing the lengths that the shepherd went to, in order to save the sheep who had wandered from the path.
We see the dangers that await the little sheep as she hides in the wilderness waiting for him to save her.
There is a happy ending as the good shepherd finds her and brings her home.
This is the third book in the Parables of Jesus Series.
My favourite times were spent with our young son reading books. Whether it was during the day or bedtime stories it fostered in me the desire to be the writer of similar stories.
SHORT NOTE; THE PRICES ARE IN US FOR A SHORT WHILE BUT WILL BE SHIPPED FROM WHEREVER YOU LIVE! Jan is from the UK and she came to Australia with her husband and their six-year old son in 2002 . After they became Christians in 2010 Jan started with her first book which was a collection of poetry taken from parts of her journal. After that, she started to write for children, with a rhyming style that sounds amazing when read out loud. So far there are five Christian books for children which Jan also illustrated. A couple of years ago she started writing and illustrating a series of stories about her son's toy dog Buster Ruff Ruff Cheese. Being in Australia Jan loves the diverse animals so she decided to highlight those that were endangered. That little white puppy dog is the hero of the Buster adventures. Jan says she knows she has a lot more stories in her, and we can't wait to see what's next.
